Business setup
Add your businessCreate a profile and prepare for review.
- Create an account or sign in.
- Open the business dashboard and choose Add another business.
- Complete the onboarding form with your business details.
- After creation, choose Open to carry on setting up your profile.
- Check the approval status shown in your business overview.
Your business must be approved before its offers can appear publicly.
Add a businessUpdate your public business profileManage your logo, description, location, and hours.
- Open your business dashboard and choose Open on the business you want.
- Choose Business profile from the business navigation.
- Update the information you want customers to see.
- Save your changes and check the public profile.
Owners and business admins can edit business details. Your personal profile is managed separately in Account settings.
Open business dashboardSwitch between businessesMove between the businesses you belong to.
- Open the business dashboard to see your business cards.
- Choose Open on the business you want.
- On desktop, use the business switcher in the sidebar to change businesses.
- On mobile, open the business menu to find the switcher.
Only businesses you belong to are available. The switcher appears when you have more than one business.
Offers
Create an offerPrepare an offer customers can understand.
- Open your business and choose Offers.
- Choose Create offer.
- Add a title, description, image, and offer details.
- Set availability, expiry, terms, and an optional total claim limit.
- Submit the offer and check its approval status.
Owners and business admins can create offers. Both the business and offer must be approved for public visibility.
Open business dashboardUnderstand offer claim limitsChoose how many customers can claim an offer.
- Set a total claim limit when you create or edit the offer. It is optional.
- Pick a number your stock, your staff and your space can actually handle.
- Watch the claim count and how many are left on your Offers page.
- Once the limit is reached, nobody else can claim it.
The limit counts claims, not visits. Someone can claim a voucher and never come in.
Check why an offer is not publicReview approval and availability before contacting support.
- Check your business has been approved.
- Check the offer itself has been approved.
- Check the offer has not passed its end date.
- Read any feedback we sent and change what it asks for.
- Still looks wrong? Contact support and we will take a look.
Approved does not always mean claimable. An offer that has expired or hit its claim limit is still approved, but closed.
Contact business supportEdit an offerKeep your offer information accurate.
- Open your business and choose Offers.
- Find the offer and choose Edit offer.
- Make your changes and save.
- Check its approval status afterwards: editing an approved offer sends it back for review.
If people have already claimed it, remember they claimed the old terms. Contact support if you need a hand with those.
Customer redemptions
Redeem a customer’s voucherScan it at the till and mark it as used.
- Sign in to Promotello on your phone with your business account.
- Point your phone camera at the QR code on the customer’s voucher and open the link.
- Check the offer shown matches what the customer is asking for.
- Tap Mark as used, then give them the deal.
- No QR code? Find the customer’s code on your Redemptions page instead.
You’ll see a warning if the voucher was already used, the offer has ended, or it’s outside its set hours. Reward vouchers from automations (codes starting with G) work the same way.
Understand unused claimsWhy claims and completed redemptions are different.
- A claim means someone has taken a voucher for your offer.
- A used redemption means your team has scanned it and given them the deal.
- Leave a voucher unused until the customer has actually had it.
- Compare the two numbers to see how many claims turned into visits.
Do not mark vouchers used to tidy up the list. An unused voucher is not a visit, and the gap between the two is worth knowing.
Resolve a code or redemption issueWhat to check when a redemption does not look right.
- Check you are looking at the right business.
- Compare the code carefully with the customer’s screen.
- Check whether it has already been marked as used.
- Check the offer’s end date and terms.
- Contact support with the offer name and what happened if you cannot sort it at the till.
Do not ask a customer to claim again from another account to get round a problem. Contact us and we will sort it properly.
Contact business supportTeam & access
Invite a team memberGive colleagues access to your business.

- Enter the colleague’s email address and choose an available role.
- Send the invitation.
- Ask the colleague to open the invitation while signed in with the invited email address.

- Owners invite people and manage who has access.
- Owners and admins can edit the business and its offers.
- Members can see redemptions and mark vouchers as used at the till.

- Open your business and choose Notifications.
- Switch on the daily summary, fully claimed alerts and low inventory warnings you want.
